You must have Adobe Reader installed. Edwards Family & Ranch, Dr. Tandy Freeman III, Sandy Kirby, Tommy Steiner and the Rick Smith Spirit of Texas honoree - Randy White. Induction into Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame is the highest honor bestowed on individuals who have shown excellence in competition, business, and support of rodeo and the western lifestyle in Texas. The Induction Ceremony is one of the premier events prior to the Fort Worth Stock Show, and will be held at the Museum, Thursday, January 17, 2013 inside Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. with the cocktails, conversation and silent auction; Cowboy Cuisine at 6:30 p.m. The Induction Ceremony follows immediately at 7:00 p.m. Tickets to the event are $100.00 per person or $1,000.00 for a table of ten. | Dr. Tandy Freeman, III – As Medical Director for the Justin Sports Medicine Team, Tandy Freeman has been to his fair share of rodeos.Started in 1981, by fellow Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame Inductee, Dr. J. Pat Evans, the Justin Sports Medicine Team has treated some the world's top professional cowboys and cowgirls. Dr. Freeman is also the Medical Director for the Professional Bull Riders Sports Medicine Program. Outside of the rodeo arena, Dr. Freeman was also the Team Physician for the Dallas Mavericks and a member of the physician pool for the U.S. Ski Team. | 
| Sandy Kirby -- Born to a rodeo family, Sandy Kirby began trick riding at the age of five. Throughout his career, Sandy qualified for the PRCA National Finals Rodeo 14 times in two events. A 9-time qualifier for the bull riding and 5-time qualifier for the bareback competition. Kirby took home the Bareback Average title in 1973 and the Bull Riding Average title in 1974. | 
| Edwards Family & Edwards Ranch – In 1848, a land grant from the newly annexed State of Texas established the Edwards Ranch at the Clear Fork of the Trinity River. In time, the ranch would span 7,000 acres. Started by Lemuel J. Edwards, the Edwards Ranch is still in operation over 160 years later. Considered prime real estate in Fort Worth, over the years parcels of the ranch have been sold and developed into Trinity Park and the Fort Worth Zoo. | 
| Tommy Steiner (1926-1999) –A second generation stock contractor, Tommy Steiner began his rodeo career at age 10. In 1945 he took the Steiner Rodeo Company on the road. Steiner produced rodeos became known for their production quality and their stock. The Steiner Rodeo Company has been home to some of rodeos finest stock including 6 Black 6, the 1975 Bull of the Year; 11 Red Lightning, the 1978 Bull of the Year and Stormy Weather, the 1975 Bareback Horse of the Year just to name a few. | |  
|  Rick Smith Spirit of Texas HonoreeRandy White – Ever since he was named as the first round draft pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 1975, Randy White has been synonymous with Texas. Since retiring from football, White has been extremely generous with his time, appearing at numerous western and children’s fundraising events. He is actively involved in celebrity roping events as well as with other western organizations. Through his restaurants, Randy White’s Hall of Fame BBQ, he promotes his deep love for his adopted state to visitors from around the world. |
